Job summary

NAS Recovery Centre is seeking a highly motivated Senior Project Officer with a strong background in allied health, mental health, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD), psychosocial recovery and NDIS services. The role combines direct client practice with project coordination, service development and professional leadership.

Working with the Team Leader and CEO, you will strengthen clinical capability, expand referral networks, improve client engagement and contribute to culturally responsive services

Qualifications

• You are an experienced practitioner with tertiary qualification in a relevant allied health field.
• You have at least three years of relevant professional experience.
• You have registration or membership relevant to your qualification.
• You can advise, supervise and mentor colleagues and lead projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver evidence-based psychosocial assessments, therapeutic interventions, recovery planning and care coordination.
• Support individuals and families with complex mental health, AOD and psychosocial disability needs.
• Apply NDIS knowledge to strengthen participant engagement and recovery outcomes.
• Provide professional guidance, case consultation and mentoring to colleagues.
• Develop and maintain strong referral pathways with health professionals, hospitals, GPs, NDIS providers and community organisations.
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase referrals and access to services.
• Coordinate funded projects, monitor deliverables and report to management and funding bodies.
• Contribute to clinical practice development and service improvement.
• Work independently while collaborating with Team Leader and CEO.

Education

Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing, Counseling or related allied health discipline
