Job summary

NSW Health's NCIRS in Westmead invites applications for a Senior Project Officer in Epi & Evaluation and Education & Engagement. The role provides operational coordination and project management across streams, supporting planning, delivery, monitoring and reporting to meet contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in health, science, management, project management, public administration or a related discipline, and/or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• Demonstrated experience coordinating projects, programs or operational activities within complex healthcare, government, research or similar environments.
• Well-developed project management skills, including planning, monitoring and reporting on milestones, deliverables, risks, issues and dependencies to support successful outcomes.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities, work independently and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight timeframes and complex environments.
• Highly developed written and verbal communication skills, including the preparation of high-quality reports, briefing papers, presentations and governance documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with diverse stakeholders and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting governance and reporting processes, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify risks, opportunities and continuous improvement initiatives
• Demonstrate a culture of quality and patient safety in clinical research.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational coordination and project/program management support across the Epidemiology & Evaluation and Education & Engagement streams.
• Coordinate workplans, project schedules, governance and reporting processes, resource planning and performance monitoring.
• Identify and manage risks, issues, dependencies and priorities to support informed decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to maintain alignment with organisational priorities and governance requirements.
