Job summary

Convergint Asia Pacific is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join the Central Technology Team. The role covers design, programming, troubleshooting and delivery of security and building automation projects across field and office environments.

You will analyze plans, prepare docs, program systems, and support integration and commissioning while providing high-quality customer support. A strong technical background, independence and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' experience in security industry.
• Solid knowledge of electronic security, building automation and fire alarm systems.
• Advanced programming capability and problem-solving skills.
• Data Centre experience preferred.
• Strong networking/IT skills in security environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD; BIM360/Revizto viewed favorably.

Responsibilities

• Analyse plans, specifications and contracts to determine project requirements and provide technical advice.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, wiring diagrams, technical documentation and submittals.
• Program systems, troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions.
• Support system integration, upgrades, audits and database management.
• Assist with project delivery, commissioning and turnover activities.
• Provide technical support to Project Managers and sales teams.
• Serve as technical contact for customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Provide onsite technical assistance during installation and turnover.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
• Mentor and train junior engineers.
