Job summary

GR Engineering Services Limited (GRES) in Ascot, WA seeks a Senior Project Engineer to join its studies team. You will work across significant projects and coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure robust design and delivery.

The role requires extensive mechanical engineering expertise, familiarity with mineral processing, and a track record of delivering design-led studies within a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications and minimum 15 years professional experience in Mechanical engineering.
• Demonstrated knowledge in the mineral processing and materials handling fields.
• Knowledge of current engineering design and standards.
• Ability to design with all relevant disciplines and ensure design coordination of any multi-disciplined activities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare conceptual and preliminary designs.
• Ensure mechanical engineering work complies with safety, statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Perform calculations to size key equipment, pumps, conveyors and tanks.
• Liaising with equipment suppliers to obtain technical and pricing inputs to studies.
