Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead electrical services packages for data centre projects, from design through handover, coordinating with subcontractors and stakeholders. You will drive HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and switchgear, manage interfaces across mechanical, ICT, BMS and commissioning, and contribute to safety, quality, cost and schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer supporting data centres, healthcare, defence, or other complex commercial building projects.
• Strong understanding of critical electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, UPS, generators and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of electrical services packages from design and procurement through construction, commissioning and handover.
• Manage and coordinate electrical subcontractors to achieve safety, quality, commercial and programme objectives.
• Drive technical coordination of HV/LV systems, generators, UPS, switchboards and critical power infrastructure.
• Coordinate interfaces across mechanical, electrical, controls, ICT, BMS, fire and commissioning disciplines.
• Review designs, identify constructability opportunities and mitigate project risks.
• Monitor project performance and contribute to schedule, cost, quality and reporting outcomes.
• Build strong working relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and project stakeholders.
