Job summary

ACCIONA Australia leads a major defence construction program to deliver a new aircraft maintenance support facility at RAAF Base Tindal, NT. The Senior Project Engineer will oversee planning, execution and closure, ensuring safety, quality, cost and schedule targets are met.

You will provide technical, administrative and HSEQS support to Supervisors, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers. FIFO, DIDO and relocation options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience in construction engineering on major projects.
• Strong understanding of WHS and risk management.
• Proficient with digital engineering tools and platforms.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules to protect the critical path.
• Develop and implement construction method statements; coordinate temporary works design, checks and inspections.
• Apply digital engineering tools to plan site activities.
• Mentor and support development of junior engineers.
• Monitor compliance with legislative and safety frameworks.
• Report weekly program status to the leadership team.
