Job summary

Forefront Recruitment Pty in Melbourne is sourcing a Senior Project Engineer for a $1bn, 150MW data centre development in Truganina. You will lead civil/structural design coordination through the ECI phase and transition to site delivery.

You will collaborate with consultants and subcontractors, review drawings, manage RFIs and design changes, and ensure constructability before construction begins; then oversee packages through construction to deliver a major city project.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team to ensure the design is technically sound, buildable and properly developed before construction begins.
• Review drawings and specifications, resolving technical issues, managing RFIs and design changes, coordinating interfaces and supporting procurement across civil and structural packages.
• Involved early enough to influence how packages are developed, rather than inheriting them once the design is locked in.
• Transition to Truganina site during construction and continue managing the same packages to Delivery.
