Job summary

Ertech is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to lead the civil construction package for the Lumsden Point project in the Pilbara. You will provide technical, commercial and operational leadership to drive outcomes and ensure delivery within budget and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will hold a tertiary Civil Engineering qualification with at least seven years’ experience in civil construction and infrastructure, including earthworks, pavements, underground services and structural

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Experience across earthworks, pavements, underground services and structural works.
• Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to lead project delivery.
• Current White Card (CPCWHS1001).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned project scope, delivering outcomes in line with Project Management Plans, company procedures, and performance expectations.
• Plan, resource, and coordinate tasks systematically, managing multiple competing priorities to meet critical deadlines and project objectives.
• Monitor and manage commercial performance by understanding cost impacts, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the Project Manager with reporting and decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively responding to needs and ensuring delivery within budget, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead problem-solving and decision-making by applying analytical thinking, addressing complex challenges, and implementing solutions that drive positive project outcomes.
• Foster a high-performing, safe, and collaborative team environment through effective leadership, coaching, HSEQ compliance, and a commitment to continuous improvement and development.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

• Demonstrated experience across earthworks, pavements, underground services and structural works.
