Job summary

Ertech is seeking a Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to lead the Lumsden Point Package in the Pilbara. You will oversee civil construction delivery, applying technical, commercial and operational leadership for successful outcomes.

This role offers ownership of major scopes and the opportunity to shape project outcomes in a strong, collaborative team. Key requirements include a Civil Engineering degree, 7+ years of civil delivery experience, and White Card, with Australian working rights.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience across earthworks, pavements, underground services and structural works.
• Current White Card (CPCWHS1001).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned project scope, delivering outcomes in line with Project Management Plans, company procedures, and performance expectations.
• Plan, resource, and coordinate tasks systematically, managing multiple competing priorities to meet critical deadlines and project objectives.
• Monitor and manage commercial performance by understanding cost impacts, identifying risks and opportunities, and supporting the Project Manager with reporting and decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, proactively responding to needs and ensuring delivery within budget, contract requirements, and quality standards.
• Lead problem-solving and decision-making by applying analytical thinking, addressing complex challenges, and implementing solutions that drive positive project outcomes.
• Foster a high-performing, safe, and collaborative team environment through effective leadership, coaching, HSEQ compliance, and a commitment to continuous improvement and development.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer (Civil) to join our team and play a key role in delivering the Lumsden Point Package in the Pilbara.

You’ll lead the delivery of civil construction works, providing technical, commercial and operational leadership to ensure successful project outcomes. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of significant project scopes and contribute to the delivery of a major civil construction project.

To be successful, you will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

• Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years' experience delivering civil construction and infrastructure projects.
• Demonstrated experience across earthworks, pavements, underground services and structural works.
• Strong technical knowledge and proven ability to lead project delivery.
• Current White Card (CPCWHS1001).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a National Police Clearance.
• Full Australian working rights.
