Job summary

Unyte, backed by the Symal Group, seeks a Senior Project Engineer to lead major civil infrastructure projects. You will partner with project managers and site teams to plan, monitor risks, control budgets and deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate design, procurement and contract administration while promoting safety and stakeholder collaboration across complex programs.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong programming, procurement, contract administration and commercial skills.
• Experience mentoring and developing project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead project delivery activities including planning, procurement, programming and construction coordination.
• Drive commercial outcomes through forecasting, cost control, contracts and variation management.
• Build and maintain client relationships, ensuring contractual obligations are met.
• Mentor Project Engineers and site teams to foster a positive project culture.
• Champion safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and opportunities, and implement improvement strategies.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers and stakeholders to achieve milestones.
• Support project reporting, forecasting and planning.
