Job summary

AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited is seeking a Specialist Project Engineering to join the Projects and Construction team in a regional role, based predominantly at Tropicana Gold Mine. The role is a fixed-term 12-month opportunity on a 4/3 FIFO roster from Perth, with direct charter flights provided.

The successful candidate will integrate project execution between design/scoping and construction, oversee planning, procurement, commissioning and handover, and ensure adherence to QA/QC and

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in mining delivering construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with processing plants and site infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of project cost estimates, forecasts and schedules.
• Exposure to EPCM, mining and construction contractors.

Responsibilities

• Define project requirements with stakeholders and desired outcomes.
• Support systems that improve HSE performance during on-site construction.
• Lead procurement activities to ensure cost-effective execution.
• Coordinate work packages, construction methodologies and quality plans.
• Manage project schedules and costs across lump-sum and schedule-of-rates contracts.
• Engage engineering consultants and contractors as required.
• Communicate progress, risks and interdependencies to stakeholders.
