Job summary

The Winslow Group invites applications for a Senior Project Engineer to join the Winslow Infrastructure team in Adelaide, South Australia. The role supports the Project Manager to deliver civil infrastructure projects on time, to budget, and to brief.

Based in Adelaide with willingness to work away from home in regional SA or interstate as needed, you should have a civil engineering degree and strong client relationship skills to manage project performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Civil.
• Experience in civil construction projects and ability to manage client relationships.
• Ability to report production costs and monitor project performance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager to deliver civil infrastructure projects on time and budget.
• Ensure project compliance with Integrated Management System.
• Plan and program project activities and liaise with clients.
• Monitor subcontractors against estimates and report issues.
• Procure plant, equipment and materials as required.
• Issue PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs.

We are seeking for full-time Senior Project Engineers and Project Engineers to join the Winslow Infrastructure team in South Australia.The Senior Project Engineer / Project Engineer will assist the Project Manager to successfully deliver civil infrastructure projects by ensuring they are delivered to budget, time and brief.

Duties will include:

• Assisting the Project Manager
• Project compliance in accordance with the Integrated Management System
• Project planning and programming tasks
• Liaising and managing client relationships
• Monitoring performance of construction crew and subcontractors against estimates
• Reporting and mitigating performance issues
• Reporting production costs daily, weekly and monthly
• Procurement of plant, equipment and material
• Issuing PMPs, SWMs, and MSDs

To be successful in this role, the Senior Project Engineer/ Project Engineer will need to:

• Mid- to senior-level SPE
• Based in Adelaide
• Strong local knowledge and experience in the Adelaide market
• Willing to work away from home in regional South Australia or interstate, as required
• Experience in civil construction, bulk earthworks and / or energy projects
• Experience with DIT project
• A degree in Engineering, preferably Civil
• Excellent client relationship management
