Job summary

Stellar Recruitment is partnering with a leading builder delivering a landmark 30+ level luxury residential development on the Gold Coast. You will coordinate engineering activities across the project, supporting delivery, programme, quality and commercial outcomes from ground up.

The role suits someone who enjoys solving complex construction challenges, planning works ahead and communicating across consultants and site teams to ensure sequencing and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Project Engineer on commercial or high-rise residential projects
• Strong understanding of concrete structures and vertical construction
• Experience working on Design & Construct projects will be highly regarded
• Excellent planning and coordination skills
• Practical, solution-focused approach to problem solving
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across consultants, subcontractors and project teams
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Construction Management

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project delivery from early construction through to completion
• Prepare and manage short-term programmes and look-ahead schedules
• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants and suppliers
• Assist with procurement, RFIs, design coordination and technical queries
• Monitor programme, cost, quality and safety performance
• Work closely with the Project Manager and Site Manager to maintain construction sequencing
• Identify construction risks early and implement practical solutions
• Maintain project documentation and reporting throughout delivery

About the Role

Working alongside an experienced project team, you'll be responsible for coordinating engineering activities across the project while supporting delivery, programme, quality and commercial outcomes.
