Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for Victoria-based infrastructure projects, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams across rail, road and water delivery. You will lead planning, package delivery, and ensure technical, quality and commercial objectives are met, reporting to the Project Manager.

The role requires a civil/structural engineering degree, proven major infrastructure experience, and strong leadership of engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and subcontractor management skills.

• Rail, road or water delivery experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead package delivery and achieve program milestones.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to deliver on commitments.
• Guide technical, commercial and quality outcomes across packages.
• Report to the Project Manager and work with construction, commercial, safety and design teams.
• Ensure delivery remains on program and standards are met across all stages.

Acciona are currently looking for Senior Project Engineers with Infrastructure experience for Metro and Regional projects. ACCIONA delivers complex civil, transport and water infrastructure across metropolitan and regional Victoria. Our teams work on large multi discipline programs involving rail, roads, structures and water assets. These projects improve connectivity, resilience and liveability for communities across the state. We partner with clients and industry to apply technical expertise and sustainable construction practices.

About the Opportunity

As Senior Project Engineer, you lead planning and delivery across defined packages of work. You coordinate engineers, subcontractors and suppliers, and guide technical, commercial and quality outcomes. You report to the Project Manager and work closely with construction, commercial, safety and design teams to keep delivery on program. You provide clear direction, uplift capability and ensure standards are met across all stages of delivery.

Key Accountabilities

• Lead package delivery and achieve program milestones
• Manage engineering, quality and design interfaces
• Drive cost control and support commercial decisions
• Oversee subcontractor performance and compliance
• Conduct risk reviews and apply mitigation actions
• Build strong stakeholder and client relationships
• Coach engineers and support development plans
