Job summary

BMD Group in Adelaide is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to lead major civil construction work packages and coordinate engineering and construction interfaces.

You will monitor program, budget and performance while managing subcontractor procurement, variations and contract administration. Mentoring junior engineers and supporting project delivery are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Civil engineering degree recognized by Engineers Australia.
• Experience in Tier 1 or Tier 2 contracting environments.
• Ownership of substantial construction packages.
• Strong commercial and contractual capability.
• Demonstrated engineering leadership.
• Strong stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.

About the Role

As BMD expands its major infrastructure capability in South Australia, we are looking for experienced Senior Project Engineers to join our Adelaide team. This opportunity is suited to established infrastructure professionals who are comfortable taking ownership of complex packages and coordinating engineering, commercial and construction activities across major projects. You will provide leadership to engineers within the project team while working closely with Project Managers and construction leadership to drive successful project outcomes.

Your role will include:

• Lead major civil construction work packages.

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• A relevant civil engineering or related tertiary qualification - Recognised by Engineers Australia

• Demonstrated engineering leadership
• Strong stakeholder and subcontractor management skills.
