Job summary

Macquarie Data Centres in Australia seeks an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of mission-critical infrastructure projects, spanning design to commissioning, reporting to the Executive General Manager.

This high-visibility role involves working with hyperscale customers, executives, consultants and partners to deliver multi-million-dollar programs on time and on budget, while maturing the PMO and governance frameworks.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience delivering major capital infrastructure projects in data centres.
• Proven track record from concept to commissioning and handover.
• Strong commercial acumen with multi-million-dollar budgets.
• Executive stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of PMO governance, risk, scheduling and stage-gate delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of major capital infrastructure projects from design through commissioning.
• Shape and mature the PMO, governance and delivery frameworks.
• Manage multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasts and reporting.
• Build trusted executive relationships with customers, contractors and consultants.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to budget.
