Job summary

Macquarie Data Centres is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of major capital infrastructure projects. Reporting to the Executive General Manager you will own a portfolio from design through commissioning and operational readiness, collaborating with hyperscale customers and delivery partners.

This high-visibility role requires strong governance, budgeting, and a track record of delivering on time and to budget.

Qualifications

Experience leading major capital infrastructure projects in data centres or mission-critical environments.
Delivery from concept through commissioning and handover.
Strong commercial acumen with multi-million-dollar budgets, forecasting and reporting.
Proven ability to manage executive stakeholders, customers, contractors and consultants.
Ability to drive governance and deliverables across matrix organizations.

Responsibilities

Lead a portfolio of multi-million-dollar capital programs from design to commissioning and handover.
Oversee PMO governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks to support growth.
Collaborate with hyperscale customers, executives, consultants and delivery partners.
Ensure safety, quality, on time and on budget delivery of complex projects.
Coach and mentor high-performing project teams across multiple sites.
