Job summary

CTC in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor working on a major Defence project in South Australia. You will be central to coordinating delivery across disciplines and ensuring program and quality standards.

You will engage with design teams, subcontractors and internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment, supporting contract administration, variations and site delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Building or related discipline.
• Experience as Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer or similar.
• Commercial construction experience on large or complex projects.
• Defence project experience would be highly regarded but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support contract administration across subcontractors and suppliers.
• Receive, assess and process subcontractor progress claims.
• Track, manage and administer project variations.
• Manage document control and information flow to trades and consultants.
• Receive, issue and coordinate RFIs.
• Liaise with design consultants, subcontractors and internal stakeholders.
• Assist with site coordination and project delivery.
• Participate in QA inspections and general site checks.
• Support project safety requirements including pre-starts, toolbox talks, inductions, plant checks and SWMS reviews.
• Assist the project team to achieve programme, quality, safety and delivery objectives.

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Project Coordinator/Engineer to join a highly regarded Tier 1 construction company working on a significant Defence project in South Australia.

About the Role

Working closely with the wider project team, you will play an integral role in supporting the day-to-day coordination and successful delivery of the project. This position provides excellent exposure to both the technical and commercial aspects of construction and would suit someone who enjoys being involved across all areas of project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Support contract administration across subcontractors and suppliers

About You

• Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Building or a related discipline
• Previous experience as a Senior Project Coordinator, Project Coordinator, Contracts Administrator or similar
• Commercial construction experience, ideally on large or complex projects
• Defence project experience would be highly regarded but is not essential
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across all levels
• Proactive, reliable and comfortable working within a fast-paced project environment
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork
