Job summary

Archidiom, an established design-led architectural practice on the Gold Coast, seeks a Senior Project Architect to own projects from concept to construction. You will lead projects, manage client and consultant relationships, coordinate internal teams, and maintain high standards of design and technical delivery.

Qualifications

• 10+ years’ experience across all project stages.
• Registered Architect in Australia.
• Strong design and technical capability.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience leading projects and teams.
• Advanced Revit skills; experience in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of NCC and Australian Standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects across all stages, from briefing and concept design through to delivery.
• Manage project scope, programme, budget hours, and resourcing.
• Guide design direction in line with Archidiom’s design philosophy.
• Oversee high-quality documentation (DA, BA, IFC) and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Coordinate consultants and resolve design and construction challenges.
• Administer contracts, procurement, and lead site involvement.
• Maintain strong client relationships and lead project communication.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to studio culture and knowledge sharing.

Archidiom is an established, design-led architectural practice with over 25 years of experience delivering bespoke architecture, interiors, and masterplanning across residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects.

We operate as a collaborative, multidisciplinary studio, offering a holistic design-to-delivery approach, combining design, documentation, and construction management to deliver refined and buildable outcomes.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Senior Project Architect to take ownership of projects and contribute to the ongoing evolution of the practice.

About the Role

This is a senior architectural role for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept through to construction. You will lead projects, manage client and consultant relationships, coordinate internal teams, and ensure a high standard of design and technical delivery throughout.

Working within a tight-knit and diverse team, you’ll have the opportunity to be genuinely hands‑on across the full breadth of a project - from early design and documentation through to construction and delivery.

We’re looking for someone who can bring strong architectural judgement, technical knowledge and leadership, while still being comfortable getting into the detail and working collaboratively with the wider team.
