Job summary

Samsung C&T Corporation Australia is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Sydney team. You will manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings, prepare statutory and management reports, and maintain the general ledger with supporting documentation.

You will oversee project costing, cost allocations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, liaising with project teams and HQ as needed. CA/CPA qualifications and SAP proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5 years finance experience in large, complex organisations.
• Expertise in project accounting: budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and internal controls.
• Proficient in SAP S4HANA, EPPM, and CATS.

Responsibilities

• Close monthly, quarterly and year-end processes and report to HQ.
• Prepare statutory and management financial reports.
• Maintain accurate general ledger and supporting documentation.
• Prepare budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis; monitor project costs and cost allocations.
