Job description

Senior Program Manager - Brand Marketing

Not all heroes wear capes — but plenty of them use toilet paper

Want to challenge yourself at a purpose‑led scale up AND make a difference in the world? Come join the revolution! We are a leading eco‑friendly household essentials business and we donate 50% of our profits to help everyone gain access to clean water and a toilet. As of June 2024, we’ve contributed over $18 million AUD to this mission. We operate scaling businesses in the UK, US and Australia (Canada, soon). Our amazing team is based in Australia, the UK, the Philippines, China, and the US. Over the next 5‑10 years, we’re hoping to increase our annual donation tenfold to get us closer to our dream of everyone in the world having access to clean water and sanitation services.

A bit about the role

As our Senior Program Manager - Brand Marketing, you’ll be the strategic orchestrator turning high‑level brand ideas into reality. This is a crucial role focused on ensuring a portfolio of brand marketing initiatives aligns with our global brand strategy and delivers its intended impact. Reporting to the Head of the function, you’ll transform interconnected strategic plans into an actionable program of work to help our talented marketing and partner teams work smarter and more efficiently.

  • Defined clear program objectives for interconnected projects such as our distinctive brand assets, variant strategy, and retail optimisation to ensure alignment with key stakeholders and the overarching business strategy.
  • Proactively identified and addressed a potential program blocker, influencing cross‑functional stakeholders to collaborate on a solution and keep projects moving forward.
  • Developed and owned the brand marketing program roadmap covering long‑term requirements like brand building across all products, packaging, Limited Editions, and New/Existing Product Development, along with cross‑functional interdependencies.
  • Coached and partnered with Creative Project Managers, ensuring clarity on project priorities and timely resolution of roadblocks.

Let’s talk about you

  • You’re a strategic program leader with expertise transforming strategic plans into clear, executable programs.
  • You build collaboration and clarity, acting as the central point of contact to ensure transparency and accountability across broad stakeholder groups.
  • You give a crap and want your work to make the world a better place.

We also believe that helping to make the world a better place should be rewarded accordingly – that’s why we offer competitive, market‑informed salaries, meaningful support towards healthcare for our team around the world, generous paid leave, tailored learning and development opportunities, and free toilet paper (yes, you read that right).

Our engagement surveys tell us that our team is really proud (95%) to work for Who Gives A Crap. We encourage a diversity of perspectives and experiences to strengthen our team and bring us closer to delivering toilets and clean water for all.
