Job summary

The Department of Education Victoria is seeking a VPS5 Senior Program Advisor to lead the design and delivery of change management and leadership initiatives to support the Best Start, Best Life reforms, and to plan Networks and Leadership Forums for sector engagement.

You will collaborate with regional teams, analyse data to identify risks and opportunities, manage procurement and contracts where needed, and prepare briefings and executive communications while driving high-quality initiatives.

Qualifications

Essential: relevant tertiary qualification in education, policy or related discipline.
Desirable: experience in public policy, data analysis and reporting, program and/or project management, and procurement/contract management.

Responsibilities

Lead data analysis and reporting to identify risks, issues and improvement opportunities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders including regional teams.
Develop and improve initiatives to support change management and sector engagement.
Design, manage projects and evaluate sector engagement initiatives.
Support procurement and contract management for sector initiatives.
Prepare communications, briefings, and presentations for executives.
