Job summary

Zepto is seeking a Senior Security Engineer (Product Security) to safeguard our real-time payments platform. You will work hands-on with Engineering and Product teams, guiding secure development and maturing Zepto's product security practices.

You will read and write production code, build tooling and automation, and contribute paved-road solutions that engineers will actually use. Reporting to the Security Engineering Lead, you will shape Zepto's security strategy and collaborate across

Qualifications

• Read and write production code and build tooling to improve security
• Hands-on automation of security controls and tooling
• Experience advising engineering on security architecture best practices
• Experience in cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Active interest in experimenting with AI and agentic technologies for security

Responsibilities

• Coach engineering teams to follow secure SDLC practices
• Design and maintain security tooling and paved-road controls
• Conduct security assessments and architecture reviews of Zepto's apps and services
• Embed with project teams to prioritize information security risk
• Support AI/agentic systems adoption and tooling for security
• Help manage application security incidents with the Security team
