Responsibilities

• As Senior Product Owner you will drive the development of our future-oriented traffic management platform.
• Support the further adaptation and integration of the Symphony platform to local standards in the APAC region.
• Provide technical ownership of system- and configuration-aspects and collaborate with neighboring teams and product owners to align cross-cutting features and projects.
• Demonstrate experience with developing visualization tools to help engineers analyze traffic data (Visu STP, Visu Intersection, Green Wave) and a quality management tool that provides feedback on the quality of connected intersections and objects.
• Oversee end-to-end projects from requirements analysis with customers, through development to operational implementation and support.
• Translate customer requirements into an actionable backlog and communicate them to international scrum teams.
• Lead and plan product release plans and set expectations for delivering new features.
• Actively manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders including sales, product management, customers, and other development teams.
• Maintain regular contact with customers and project partners and serve as the main contact for clarifying product requirements at the functional level. Travel may be required.

Qualifications & Experience

• University degree in engineering.
• More than 10 years of professional experience in the traffic domain and at least 5 years in traffic engineering.
• Good understanding of global traffic technology stacks (e.g., OCIT, NTCIP, UMTC, SCATS) and traffic domain tools (Yutraffic Office, Vissim, Aimsun Next, traffic controllers, OCIT-C/OCIT-O, Canto, Befa). These skills are mandatory for third-level support with the development team.
• Experience working on agile projects (SCRUM) and as Product Owner, with at least 5 years in software development.
• Self-motivated with initiative, assertiveness and a results-oriented approach.
• German and English language proficiency (DACH region customers and a core development team in Germany).
