Job summary

AP+ is seeking a Senior Product Manager – Fraud & Scams to shape and evolve products protecting Australians from fraud across real-time payments and card rails. You will own products end-to-end, using market insight and data to drive evidence-based decisions.

You will lead cross-functional delivery teams, build trusted relationships with member banks and fintech partners, and translate complex fraud challenges into scalable product solutions that balance risk and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Deep fraud/scam prevention expertise across products and controls.
• Strong knowledge of card fraud, including card-present and card-not-present.
• Experience with real-time or A2A payments, including NPP and APP scams.
• Proven end-to-end product management, from problem discovery to delivery and optimisation.
• Strong payments sector knowledge in banking/fintech contexts.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage full product lifecycle, identifying customer needs and shaping roadmaps.
• Develop products addressing evolving fraud and scam risks using data and insights.
• Translate fraud challenges into practical product propositions and customer journeys.
• Lead cross-functional delivery teams, prioritise requirements, backlogs and value delivery.
• Coordinate testing, launches, communications and training, adapting to risk needs.
• Build business cases considering commercial, technical, operational and risk impacts.
• Develop relationships with banks, fraud leaders, technology and data teams.
• Provide specialist advice to translate strategy into execution.
