Job summary

Lyrebird Health is seeking a Lead Product Designer to own design across discovery to design system ownership. You will shape problem framing, strategy, and shipped UI, defining the design system and architecture as the senior voice in the design function.

You’ll collaborate closely with the CEO/Founder and Head of Product Operations, leading design initiatives, mentoring teammates, and ensuring designs integrate with clinical workflows and AI-native tooling.

Qualifications

• Experience owning 0-to-1 product design problems end-to-end
• Ownership of a design system’s architecture and evolution
• Fluency in AI-native design workflows and prototyping in code

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product design from problem framing to shipped UI
• Define and own design system architecture and UX ontology
• Build prototypes and run interviews to test hypotheses
• Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritise outcomes
• Mentor and coach junior designers
• Set velocity and cycle times from problem to sign-off
• Lead cross-functional design reviews and maintain design standards
• Drive the design culture and raise the bar for the team
