Job summary

Loop Recruitment partners with a leading Australian retailer undergoing transformational change to hire a Senior Procurement Specialist. You will lead sourcing events across indirect categories such as Marketing, IT, and Professional Services, collaborating with senior leaders to develop and implement strategies.

You will run RFx processes, manage supplier relationships, and drive contract management while supporting internal communications and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a strategic procurement role.
• Category experience across Indirects within FMCG/ Retailer or similar fast-paced industry.
• Organised and analytical mindset.
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint experience.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run end-to-end sourcing events including market analysis, RFx documentation, evaluation, negotiation, selection and contract implementation.
• Support procurement activities including supplier relationship management, contract management and internal communications.
• Build strong internal relationships with project leaders to ensure maximum efficiency on both internal and supply side.
• Collaborate with suppliers to maximise value, not only through cost reduction, but also through new products and initiatives.

ROLE As a Senior Procurement Specialist in this business, you will be working closely with the senior leaders across multiple areas to understand the current state, developing longer term strategies and delivering on upcoming sourcing events within the vertical.

This role will lead sourcing and category strategies over an assortment of contracts in the Indirect space including Marketing, IT (Software, Infr, SaaS etc) and Professional Services.

Specifically, you will:

• Run end to end sourcing events including market analysis, RFx documentation creation, evaluation, negotiation, selection and contract implementation
• Support procurement activities including supplier relationship management, contract management and internal communications
• Build strong internal relationships with project leaders to ensure maximum efficiency on both the internal and supply side
• Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the business is maximising value, not only through cost reduction, but also through new products and initiatives

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• 5+ years in a similar role within a strategic procurement environment
