Job summary

The position emphasises hands-on procurement leadership, applying Lean principles to improve processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Senior, hands-on procurement experience within manufacturing.
• Strong SAP experience across procurement, inventory and manufacturing processes.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of components for manufacturing.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, overseeing delivery performance and lead times.
• Coordinate purchase orders, supplier follow-ups and expediting to minimise production disruptions.
• Support production planning, inventory control, and replenishment across manufacturing operations.
• Utilise SAP to manage procurement information and improve reporting.
• Collaborate with production, sourcing and engineering to align procurement with priorities.
• Identify opportunities to streamline purchasing and strengthen inventory controls.
• Apply Lean and continuous improvement to enhance workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
