Job summary

Veolia Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts and Procurement Advisor to support our water operations across NSW, based in Tomago. You will develop procurement strategies that reduce risk, improve processes and deliver value, while collaborating with regional leaders and cross-functional teams.

The role covers minor capital works, spares, consumables, consulting and indirect services, with opportunities to work with national and global category managers to leverage

Qualifications

• Strong procurement experience across multiple categories
• Experience supporting operational, infrastructure or project environments
• Commercial, analytical and problem solving skills
• The ability to turn business needs into practical procurement solutions

Responsibilities

• Developing procurement strategies aligned with operational priorities
• Advising stakeholders on procurement processes, policies and requirements
• Analysing spend and market trends to identify savings and improvements
• Managing supplier categories, relationships and performance
• Supporting contract reviews with project owners, Legal and Finance
• Identifying procurement risks and developing practical controls
• Improving procurement guidelines, templates and processes
• Monitoring performance and reporting on procurement outcomes
