Job summary

Veolia is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts and Procurement Advisor to support our water operations across NSW, based in Tomago. You will work with regional leaders, operational teams and technical specialists to develop procurement strategies that reduce risk, improve processes and deliver value.

Your portfolio covers minor capital works, spares and services; you will advise on processes, analyse spend and manage supplier categories, ensuring contracts align with project needs.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting operational, infrastructure or project environments.
• Strong commercial and analytical abilities with problem solving skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into practical procurement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop procurement strategies aligned with operational priorities.
• Advise stakeholders on procurement processes, policies and requirements.
• Analyse spend and market trends to identify savings and improvements.
• Manage supplier categories, relationships and performance.
• Support contract reviews with project owners, Legal and Finance.
• Identify procurement risks and develop practical controls.
• Improve procurement guidelines, templates and processes.
• Monitor performance and report on procurement outcomes.
