Job summary

Randstad is partnering with a respected organisation undergoing a commercial transformation. We seek a Senior Procurement and Contracts Specialist to own contract negotiation and governance across the procurement and supply function.

You will administer the lifecycle of supplier agreements, drive KPI frameworks, and provide strategic advice on terms, risk, and termination as part of an independent operating model transition.

Qualifications

• Experience managing end-to-end contract lifecycle in a complex enterprise.
• Ability to negotiate terms and advise on pricing, risk, indemnities and termination.
• Knowledge of supplier due diligence and modern slavery act frameworks.

Responsibilities

Senior Procurement and Contracts Specialist

Randstad is currently working with a highly respected organisation currently undergoing a commercial transformation and growth. They are seeking a highly capable Senior Procurement and Contracts Specialist to serve as the primary point of contract negotiation and governance across their procurement and supply function.

Key Responsibilities

Administer the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including the creation, execution, storage, renewal, and expiry tracking for a high-volume portfolio of supplier agreements.

Lead the establishment, transition, and novation of commercial agreements as part of the transition to an independent operating model, proactively prioritising contracts based on upcoming expiry dates and supply risk.

Develop and maintain supplier KPI frameworks, scorecards, and service level measures, and lead structured supplier performance and business review meetings to drive continuous improvement.

Review commercial and legal terms in draft agreements, providing strategic advice on pricing mechanisms, risk allocation, warranties, indemnities, liability, and termination provisions prior to execution.

About you

A relevant tertiary qualification in Law, Commerce, Business, Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related discipline is beneficial

Demonstrated experience managing the end-to-end contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, executing, and administering commercial agreements within a complex enterprise environment.

Demonstrated experience establishing structured supplier KPI frameworks and managing supplier performance business reviews.

A strong understanding of commercial contracts terms, risk mitigation, and maintaining continuous supply protection.

Working knowledge of the Modern Slavery Act and supplier due diligence frameworks.

Interpersonal and influencing skills, with the confidence to constructively challenge and negotiate with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and legal advisors.
