Job summary

Downer is seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to lead end-to-end procurement for a major capital infrastructure project: a 100km, 500kV transmission line north of Sydney. Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in procurement for capital projects, ideally in Energy & Utilities or construction.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex contracts.
• Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Job description

The opportunity

Downer's Energy & Utilities business is seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to support a major capital infrastructure project - a 100km, 500kV transmission line north of Sydney, enabling the energy transition to renewables.

You will run the full procurement lifecycle from sourcing and contracting to supplier negotiations working closely with subcontractors, international suppliers, project teams, and senior leadership. This is a full-time permanent position with significant responsibility for delivering materials and resources efficiently, on time and within budget.

This role is critical to Downer's delivery of renewable energy infrastructure, ensuring commercial outcomes and project success across a high-profile, Tier 1 project.

What you'll do
