Job summary

Syenta seeks a Senior Process Development Scientist/Engineer to advance our Localised Electrochemical Metallization technology. You will work on development with prototype semiconductor hardware, shaping process windows and experiments to drive efficiency and quality.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience in semiconductor process development, electrochemical systems, or related fields, with strong data-driven problem solving and cross-functional collaboration across hardware,

Qualifications

• PhD in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent senior industry experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in process development in semiconductor, microfabrication, or precision materials processing.
• Experience designing experiments and analysing multi-variable data sets.
• Experience using metrology and inspection data to understand process performance and defects.
• Clear technical communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimise, and refine Syenta’s LEM process using prototype semiconductor manufacturing hardware.
• Define and improve process windows across key operating parameters.
• Design and execute structured experiments and DOEs to understand multi-variable process behaviour.
• Improve process repeatability, uniformity, yield, and robustness.
• Translate experimental results into actionable process changes and technical recommendations.
