Ausenco Pty Ltd. seeks Senior Process Engineers for our Perth CBD office to lead process design across projects and phases. You will develop PDCs, PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies and equipment sizing, while applying heat and mass balances and financial modeling.

Qualifications

• Degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering or similar.
• Experience in mill, concentrator and/or metallurgical plant design – for base and precious metals.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify principles or facts from information or data.

Responsibilities

• Ensure process engineering design and documentation aligns with study and project scope and objectives.
• Develop Process Design Criteria (PDC), PFDs, P&IDs, control philosophies and tables.
• Size process equipment and perform heat and mass balances and models.
• Carry out trade-off studies, operating cost estimates and high-level financial models.
• Provide process engineering and mineral processing expertise through all engineering phases.
• Mentor other Process Engineers and Graduates within the team.
• Collaborate with the broader Ausenco team and stakeholders on technical aspects.
• Prioritize and deliver work in a fast-moving environment.
