Job summary

Ausenco Pty Ltd. in Perth CBD is seeking a Principal Process Engineer to lead specialized process design engineering for complex projects in challenging environments. You will mentor engineers, ensure standards, and drive success by building client relationships and delivering on time and budget.

The role reports to the Manager of Process - WA and requires extensive experience, leadership, and a strong background in comminution design and circuit audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or Chemical Engineering.
• Experience designing comminution circuits and comminution test work programs.
• Circuit audits and optimisation experience.
• 15+ years’ proven process engineering experience.
• Supervisory experience in industry-related operations.
• Strong budgeting and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead specialized process design engineering according to project deliverables.
• Provide expertise, support, and direction to Ausenco’s process engineers.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Assist in proposals and budgets, manage schedules, ensuring cost, quality and time.
• Review all discipline-related technical documentation.
• Provide technical expert advice for allocated projects.
