Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Metallurgy or related science; professional accreditation preferred.
• Experience in mineral processing and hydrometallurgical operations is valued.
• Operational, consulting and/or process design experience is expected.
• Proven ability to work across various process unit operations.

Responsibilities

• Support conceptual, pre-feasibility and detailed process engineering designs for greenfield and brownfield expansion projects.
• Develop process engineering deliverables including Design Criteria, Mass and Energy Balances, process simulations, calculations, PFDs, P&IDs and datasheets.
• Complete preliminary equipment sizing and liaise with vendors to meet requirements.
• Conduct technical bid evaluations and obtain budgetary quotations for cost estimates.
• Support process evaluations and trade-off studies using multi-criteria assessment methodologies.
• Collaborate with Process Leads and multidisciplinary teams in HAZID, HAZOP, 3D model reviews and workshops.
• Work within procedures, technical guidelines, QA frameworks and safety standards.
