Job summary

PwC Australia is seeking a Senior Associate, Private Business (Business Tax) to deliver tailored tax advisory and compliance services for private businesses, from family enterprises to privately-held companies. You will build strong client relationships, prepare and review tax returns, advise on tax-efficient strategies including succession planning and mergers & acquisitions, and stay updated on tax laws.

You will mentor junior staff and help expand the firm’s services with a flexible hybrid

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with a portfolio of private business clients and understand their tax needs.
Prepare and review tax returns ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Advise on tax-efficient strategies including succession planning and M&A.
Stay updated with tax laws and conduct in-depth research for clients.
Mentor and support junior staff within the team.
Identify potential tax risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Provide updates to clients on tax-related issues and changes in legislation.
Support tax services for trusts, companies, partnerships and individuals.
