Glencore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to implement asset management, engineering and risk monitoring standards within our Coal Assets Australia. You will work with site teams to ensure compliance and drive improvements in safety and performance.

The role emphasizes incident investigation proficiency, leadership, and collaboration with regulators to meet Australian standards. Based in Queensland with the potential for growth and a strong development plan.

Qualifikationen

• Tertiary engineering degree or equivalent experience in mechanical engineering.
• Experience with Incident Investigation (ICAM) and RCA methods.
• Understanding of Queensland Coal Mining Act and Australian Standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide advice and support to operating sites to monitor Asset Management and Risk Standards.
• Support Health and Safety with Fatal Hazard Protocols and Risk Standards.
• Develop relationships with external regulators and stakeholders.
• Participate in investigations following equipment failures and safety incidents.
• Mentor Mechanical Graduate Engineers and share best practices.
• Maintain knowledge of engineering practices and support improvements.
