DNV Energy Systems is looking for a Specialist/Senior Principal Engineer to lead power system planning engagements across Australia. You will guide modelling, strategic network planning and regulatory advisory work, mentoring team members and coordinating with key stakeholders to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Based in Melbourne, you will influence technical direction, develop robust methodologies and support the company’s energy transition strategy with commercial acumen and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
• Typically 10+ years of relevant experience in power systems planning.
• Strong ability to lead engineering engagements and mentor engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex network planning and power system analysis engagements.
• Provide technical direction and stakeholder alignment for projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive capability growth.
