Aurecon Group is seeking a senior leader to head the Queensland Power Transmission & Distribution practice from Brisbane. You will build and lead a high-performing team, set technical standards, and partner with clients to shape energy infrastructure across Queensland.

This is a senior leadership role focused on delivering high-quality, credible engineering outcomes while expanding client networks and project opportunities for the practice.

Qualifications

• Deep transmission and distribution engineering expertise with RPEQ registration.
• Experience leading and developing engineering teams.
• Strong client relationships and track record of delivering impactful work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Strategic thinking with ability to translate strategy into outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Queensland Power Transmission & Distribution practice and grow capability.
• Set priorities and technical standards for consistent quality and delivery.
• Provide credible technical leadership on transmission, substations, and grid projects.
• Balance client expectations, resourcing, and commercial outcomes in daily decisions.
• Champion digital delivery and technology-enabled ways of working.
