Job summary

Hyperion IT is seeking Canberra-based Software Engineers to lead and deliver high-quality software for the myAMSA portal. The role involves overseeing projects, providing technical guidance, and collaborating with business teams in a small, high-performing environment.

The candidate must have strong full-stack skills (C#, .NET, REST, JSON, SQL) and experience with Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Azure integrations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing solutions using Microsoft Dynamics 365, Dataverse and the Power Platform, including Power Pages.
• Strong full-stack development skills, including experience with C#, .NET, REST APIs, JSON and SQL, and integrating front-end applications with backend services.
• Experience with Azure and Power Platform integration technologies, such as API Management, Azure Functions, Logic Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience working with established application architectures, development patterns and reusable components, including Azure DevOps, source control and CI/CD practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills, with demonstrated experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary delivery teams.
• Experience with AI and intelligent automation technologies, such as Azure AI, Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, generative AI or agent-based solutions.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Azure or AI will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee software development projects and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.
• Work closely with business teams to deliver cohesive solutions in a small, high-performing environment.
• Contribute to the inflight myAMSA portal program and ensure quality and functionality of software produced by the team.
