Job summary
APA is seeking a Senior Advisor, Power Investment & Analytics in Perth to provide critical analytical support for investment decisions across the power portfolio. You'll build financial models, develop business cases, and deliver insights to drive APA's Energy Solutions strategy.
Reporting to the Manager, Power Investment & Analytics, you will collaborate with Power Development, Corporate Finance and other stakeholders to align priorities and deliver robust economic analyses for senior
Qualifications
- Experience in investment analysis, corporate finance or commercial roles.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
- Experience preparing business cases, forecasts and presentations for senior stakeholders.
- Collaborative approach across technical, commercial and corporate teams.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Power Development teams to evaluate and optimise power solutions that meet customer requirements and support APA's growth strategy.
- Develop business cases and provide techno-economic analysis, modelling and recommendations to support investment decisions across the power portfolio.
- Build and maintain financial models, forecasts and key assumptions, using data and benchmarking insights to assess opportunities and evaluate investment performance.
- Collaborate with Project Development teams, Corporate Finance and key business stakeholders to align priorities, support new opportunities and deliver Energy Solutions objectives.
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations for senior leaders and the Board, while coaching junior team members and ensuring compliance with regulatory and ringfencing requirements.
