Job summary

Cummins in Adelaide seeks a Senior Project Engineer with 5+ years in power generation or electrical infrastructure to deliver innovative power solutions for mission-critical applications across the Asia Pacific region.

Based at the Pooraka Branch, you will join our Power Generation team providing technical leadership and engineering support for diverse sectors including data centres, healthcare, mining, and utilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
5+ years of experience in power generation, electrical infrastructure, or industrial power systems.
Experience delivering technical solutions for data centres, healthcare, mining, utilities, or large infrastructure projects.
Experience creating and reviewing electrical schematics, technical specs, and project docs.
Strong knowledge of Australian standards and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

Develop technical solutions for diesel and gas generator systems and power packages.
Engage with customers, consultants, EPCs, and internal teams to define requirements.
Prepare and review technical specs, single line diagrams, system architectures, and equipment schedules.
Provide on-site expertise during installation and commissioning of equipment.
Lead design reviews, FATs, site installations, commissioning, and project close-out.
