Job summary

Marshall Recruitment is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant to bridge the Digital team and business stakeholders in Sydney. You will translate requirements into clear visualisations and insights, with a strong Power BI and data modelling focus.

Based in Sydney CBD with 1 day of work-from-home, this role combines hands-on BI development with stakeholder engagement, analytics delivery, and scalable Power BI/Power Automate solutions.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Business Intelligence roles with strong Microsoft stack (incl. Power BI).
• Extensive data modelling experience and ability to translate requirements into visuals.
• Consultant background with excellent stakeholder engagement and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Designing and building Power BI dashboards across operational, financial and workforce performance
• Developing data models and measures to turn operational data into meaningful business insights
• Building Power Automate workflows to reduce manual administration and improve visibility across the business
• Connecting and transforming data from multiple systems and sources
• Automating reporting and information flows
• Reviewing existing processes and identifying additional opportunities for automation
• Helping to establish scalable approaches to Power BI and Power Automate.

• Our client is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant / Management consultant with strong Power BI and Data Modelling experience.
• This role is sitting between a high-performing Digital team and highly professional business stakeholders. You'll be the critical link between business stakeholders and technical delivery, translating requirements into clear visualisations and insights.
• Permanent role: This is 4 days in the Sydney CBD office with 1 WFH day.

Your responsibilities:

• Designing and building Power BI dashboards across operational, financial and workforce performance
• Developing data models and measures to turn operational data into meaningful business insights
• Building Power Automate workflows to reduce manual administration and improve visibility across the business
• Connecting and transforming data from multiple systems and sources

About you:

• 7+ years working within Business Intelligence positions with extensive Microsoft stack experience (including Power BI).

• This role is ideal for someone with a consultant background, given they will need fantastic stakeholder engagement skills along with strong business acumen.
