Job summary

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is seeking a Pools Supervisor to oversee aquatic facilities and ensure a safe, welcoming experience for all patrons. You will supervise staff and patrons, manage water testing, and assist with pool maintenance.

Ideal candidates will hold a Lifeguard certificate, Advanced First Aid, and WWCC, with a proven track record in customer service and incident prevention within a busy pool environment. Full-time, up to 38 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising pools and patrons.
• Capable of delivering high-level customer service.
• Strong time management to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all patrons at the pools and take appropriate action in case of an emergency.
• Conduct regular chemical, filtration and plant equipment operation, and daily water testing and recording.
• Provide a high level of customer service, helping with enquiries and collecting fees.
• Help maintain the presentation of the pool centre by assisting with cleaning and maintenance.
