Job summary

Corrections Victoria is seeking a Senior Policy and Project Officer to help deliver separations reform across Victoria's adult custodial system. The role focuses on strategic communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement to strengthen governance and safety outcomes.

Based at 50 Franklin Street, Melbourne, with travel to other prisons as needed. You will support the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner in delivering on the Prison Workforce Strategy and improve governance of longer-term

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and implementation of separations initiatives in the adult custodial system.
• Prepare reports, briefs, options papers and staff communications to support project delivery.
• Build strong relationships with prison staff and stakeholders to address risks and opportunities.
