Job summary

They research, analyse and advise on policy and technology issues and support effective communication and implementation of agreed approaches.Main accountabilities:Prepares technical reports at an advanced professional levelProvides specialist professional services or adviceDevelops briefs on highly complex issues that provide options for discussion and consideration and will contribute to the development of a set of final options for decisionThe TeamThe position of Senior Policy Officer, Systems and Technology Officer forms a part of the TAFE Strategy, Systems and Tertiary Governance branch within the Skills and TAFE group.Skills and TAFE (S&T) focuses on enabling Victorians to access the knowledge, skills and attributes they need to participate in today's workforce, prepare for future jobs, and achieve their educational aspirations.About YouThe successful candidate will ideally have the following skills and experience:Systems Thinking: Understands the linkages between systems and communities to inform policy; Conceptualises and defines the systems working within the organisation.Digital and Technological Literacy: Integrates improved capabilities into service delivery processes.
