Infrastructure NSW is seeking a Senior Policy Officer (Temporary Full-Time to December 2027) in Sydney CBD. The role involves coordinating infrastructure priorities to support economic development and jobs across NSW, with exposure to the State Infrastructure Strategy and cross-government issues.

You will work across government to identify needs, plan sequencing, and provide clear, practical policy advice, building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline.
• Experience in policy analysis and/or strategy development.
• Strong analytical and writing skills; ability to simplify complex issues.

Responsabilités

• Undertaking research and analysis on strategic infrastructure, land-use and economic development issues to support evidence-based decisions.
• Identifying infrastructure problems and opportunities and developing practical options to address them.
• Preparing clear, high-quality briefings and advice for senior audiences.
• Building strong working relationships with agencies and stakeholders to resolve issues and progress shared objectives.
