Job summary

Workpac Group has partnered with a leading wear-resistant solutions provider in Berkeley Vale, NSW to hire a Project Leader for permanent placement. You will drive end-to-end projects, coordinating fabrication, subcontractors and logistics while ensuring safety, budget and schedule adherence.

You will manage schedules, labour, costs and resources with planning and production teams, monitor risks and deliver accurate progress reports in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• A qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction/Manufacturing Management or a relevant technical trade/degree, and/or 5+ years’ experience managing fabrication or manufacturing projects.
• Experience managing subcontractors and suppliers, including overseas providers, freight, logistics and quality requirements.
• Strong experience in project planning, labour-hour and cost control, contract administration and stakeholder management.
• A practical understanding of fabrication, manufacturing or a similar operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver company projects safely, on time, within scope and budget.
• Manage fabrication, lining, subcontractor supply, suppliers and logistics.
• Coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, including local and overseas providers.
• Work with Planning and Production Managers to manage schedules, labour, costs and resources.
• Monitor project risks, changes, quality and contractual requirements.
• Provide accurate project progress and forecast reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, client requirements and legislation.
• Drive continuous improvement through standardised processes and lessons learned.
