Job summary

Planit is seeking a hands-on Functional Test Engineer in Western Australia. You will design, develop and maintain automated tests using Playwright and C#, while performing manual testing as needed to ensure quality across releases.

The role emphasizes code-driven test automation, collaboration with developers and testers, and building reliable, scalable testing solutions. Australian citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on automation using Playwright and C#.
• Experience with functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Contribute to automated test coverage and reliable test code.
• Experience with API testing and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
• Australian Citizenship and Baseline Security Clearance eligibility.
• Must be based in Western Australia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test scripts with Playwright and C#.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
• Write clean, reusable automation code.
• Develop and enhance automated test coverage within existing frameworks.
• Investigate and troubleshoot automation failures and defects.
• Collaborate with developers and testers to improve testing quality.
• Contribute to test planning, execution, and reporting.
